What’s Your Technical Writing Experience?
How many writing courses did you take at college?
How many college courses were delivered by engineers?
Most of us were poorly prepared.
We were expected to become good technical writers by magic!

The Three Pillars of Excellence in Technical Writing
Clear
Your writing should be unambiguous and easy to read.
Concise
No one reads technical content for fun, so your writing should be as short as possible.
Concrete
Engineering is about facts – your writing must be specific and with the appropriate degree of detail.
